How to Back-Order a Domain on GoDaddy

Go Daddy offers a domain name back-ordering a service that allows you to put your name on a waiting list should a domain you desire becomes available. The service allows users to pay a fee to have Go Daddy monitor the domain name. If the domain name is not renewed or is released, Go Daddy attempts to bid on the domain to acquire the rights to it. There is no guarantee that the domain will become available or that you'll get it if it does become available.
