How to Export Word to PowerPoint

Microsoft Office contains many different kinds of word processing tools and presentation tools in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint. Because Microsoft Office is a collaboration of these kinds of programs and tools, it is possible to convert a Word document in to a Powerpoint document to be used in a presentation. To do this, you need to follow a simple set of guidelines for converting a Word document.

      Open Microsoft Powerpoint from "Microsoft Office" found under your Start menu.

      Scroll up to where it says "new slide."

      Click the small arrow located under this link.

      Click "slides from outline" when it drops down from this arrow.

      Browse your documents to find the Word document that you want to convert.

      Click on the document you want to convert.

      Click "insert."

      Right click and scroll down to "design."

      Choose how you want the document to look on the slide and click "OK."
