Nestlé's Coffee-mate, the non-dairy powdered or liquid creamer, is used as substitute for milk and half and half in hot tea, coffee and cocoa. It comes in liquid and powder form and in a wide range of flavors, including hazelnut, French vanilla and gingerbread. The Coffee-mate powder can be added simply by stirring 1 tsp. of powder into your drink. As Coffee-mate powder does not dissolve well in cold beverages, make the liquefied form for iced tea and coffee. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

      Bring a pot of water to boil.

      Fill a cup with the boiling water.

      Add 1/2 cup of Coffee-mate powder. Stir thoroughly, until the powder has dissolved. To make larger quantities of liquid creamer, use one part Coffee-mate powder to two parts boiling water.

      Add the liquid creamer to iced tea or coffee as a milk or half and half substitute.

  • Typical brewing temperature for coffee is 197.6 degrees Fahrenheit to 204.8 degrees Fahrenheit; for tea it is 190 degrees Fahrenheit to 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
