Twitter lets users use an optional location feature that adds geo-location information to tweets. The tweets are accompanied by location information from where the tweet occurred. The geo-location feature can only be turned on and off if you are logged in to your Twitter account.

      Sign in to your account on Twitter. If you do not have an account, sign up for one.

      Click on "Account Settings".

      Check the box labeled "Add location information to my tweets." Doing this will add location information to your tweets.
