How to Turn on JavaScript in Adobe

Adobe Acrobat Reader allows users to control JavaScript execution in PDF documents.

The Adobe Acrobat Reader gives users an option to control the execution of JavaScript in PDF (Portable Document File) files. It allows users to turn the JavaScript engine on or off; enable or disable JavaScript web links; and control the execution of JavaScript by user permission. The Adobe JavaScript Blacklist

Framework protects users and computer systems from attacks that target a specific JavaScript program. By turning on JavaScript execution in Acrobat Reader with the blacklist protection, you can use PDF documents on your computer without increasing security risks.

Instructions

1. Open the Adobe Reader program.

2. Click "Edit" in open window and then click "Preferences".

3. Click "JavaScript" on the left pane of the "Preferences" window and check the "Enable Acrobat JavaScript" box.

4. Click the "OK" button to turn on Javascript in your Adobe Reader.
