Nike Air Force 1 sneakers -- for men, women and kids -- have been produced in more than 40 styles and over 1,500 various color combinations. Because they are fully or partially made from leather, you should know how to clean and take care of them. Nike Air Force 1s can be costly, so you'll want to wear them for as long as possible to get your money's worth. That means you have to keep them looking like new.

Keep paper stuffing inside your sneakers when not in use. It will retain the form of the sneakers, and prevent the leather from cracking and creasing. Avoid using newspaper stuffing; ink can get on the sneaker.

Spray the sneakers with a leather shoe protector spray; Foot Locker Leather Protector Spray works well. Keep the paper stuffing inserted in the shoes while spraying. Place the sneakers on a flat surface, preferably outdoors.

Hold the spray at least 5 inches away from the sneakers and lightly spray all over them. Do not saturate with the spray. Let them dry for about 20 minutes.

Clean the sneakers with a solution of laundry detergent and water. Fill a small cup with warm water and add 1 tsp. of detergent.

Get a toothbrush and dip it in the soapy solution. Gently scrub the outer surface of the sneakers with the toothbrush using a circular motion.

Take a clean wash cloth and wet it with clean water. Wring it so it is damp and not completely saturated. Wipe the soapy solution off the sneakers. Wipe with a small, dry towel. Let it completely air dry for 15 minutes.

Spray the Nike Air Force 1s with leather protector spray after cleaning and allow them to dry completely before wearing them again.
