If you try to eyeball the amount of cupcake batter you are pouring into the baking tin, you will likely end up with a batch of cupcakes in various sizes. To measure perfect cupcakes every time, you can use a kitchen utensil to easily transport the same amount of batter into each cup. The method is simple to execute and will make distributing the cupcake batter a quick job.
Things You'll Need
- #12 ice cream scoop
- Butter knife
Fill a #12 ice cream scoop with cupcake batter.
Level the scoop by running the non-bladed side of a butter knife over the rim to remove excess batter.
Pour the batter from the scoop into one of the cups in the cupcake tin.
Repeat until all cups in the cupcake tin are full.
