How to Clean a Hot Tub Fliter
Hot tub filters are an important part of your spa system. They trap dirt, bacteria, body oils and other particles that accumulate in the water. When your hot tub filter is clogged, it won't properly filter the water and this can affect the performance of your hot tub. Turn off the hot tub, and unplug it from its power source.

Remove the filter from it's housing according to the hot tub manufacturer's instructions.

Spray the filter thoroughly with a garden hose to remove any dirt or debris. Make sure to rinse between the pleats. For deeper cleaning, soak the filter overnight in a bucket filled with spa filter cleaning solution. Rinse the filter thoroughly after it soaks. Allow the filter to dry completely.

Set the filter into place in the filter housing, and turn on the power to the hot tub.
