How to Make Your Own Dreamcatcher Tattoos
Design and print your own dreamcatcher tattoos using temporary tattoo printer paper. You can create your own design with a picture editing program, or use a dreamcatcher template. Simply use your home printer to make your own dreamcatcher-style tattoo and show off your love for Native American culture with temporary art that you can wear on your body.

1
Create your design. Scan a photo or design of a dream catcher onto your home computer. Use the picture editing or design program to size the photo to the dimension you would like your tattoo. Alternatively, you can hand-draw your design, scan it and upload the image to your computer. There are also various websites like Tattoo Johnny or Tattoo Finder that offer free printable design templates.

Change the margins on your picture editing or desktop publishing program. Click on "File" on the top right of the program in which the template appears. Go to "Print Setup" on the browser and adjust your margins to .25 inches or the lowest possible setting. Turn off your header and footer in this location, as well, so the date does not print on the tattoo paper.

3
Test print a tattoo. Use a scrap piece of paper and print to gauge the correct side and size is being printed.

4
Insert the temporary tattoo paper in the printer, print and apply the tattoo using the directions.
Or place the tattoo face down on your skin. Dampen a cotton washcloth with water and firmly press the damp washcloth onto the entire tattoo. Hold for 2 to 3 minutes, then gently peel back the paper to reveal your dreamcatcher tattoo.
