How to Play on Safe Mode for Windows Vista

Safe mode is a way to start up your Windows Vista operating system with limited resources to help troubleshoot the computer. Windows offers a few different safe mode options, allowing varying levels of access to the computer. Entering "Safe Mode with Networking" will allow you to start the computer and still retain Internet and local network access. Accessing this mode is simple.

Instructions

1. Restart the computer.

2. Press and hold "F8" as soon as the computer reboots. Be sure to press the key before the Windows logo appears. The "Advanced Boot Options" screen will appear.

3. Highlight "Safe Mode with Networking" using the arrow keys, press "Enter" to start in the selected safe mode.
