How to Make & Print Your Own Stationery
By making your own stationery, you can add a personal touch to your letters. Making and printing stationery is cheaper than purchasing it. You do not even need stationery software. In fact, you can use Microsoft Word or another word processing program. Microsoft Word provides you with hundreds of templates from which to choose. Once you have chosen and edited your template, you can print it out in the comfort of your own home.

Launch Microsoft Word on your computer. Click the "Office" icon in the top left corner. Click the "New Document" option.

Scroll down to "Stationery and specialty paper." Select the type of occasion you want. Click on your desired stationery. It will load into your Word document.

Enter in the fields of the stationery, if you prefer. You can include the person's name, a personal message, your address and a closing.

Insert stationery printer paper into your printer.

Click the "Office" button and click "Print Preview." Look at the document to see if it is to your liking.

Click "Office" again and click "Print." Choose the type of paper you have in the options menu.

Remove the paper from the printer after it prints. Allow the ink to dry.
