Place the scorpion mold onto a flat surface. Tilt the mixing bowl carefully over the mold. Dispense the mix from the bowl into the mold using a spatula. Make sure the mix is evenly poured throughout the mold.

4
Place mold into the oven and bake for approximately 35 minutes. Insert a toothpick into the cake to see if it is baked. When the toothpick comes out clean, your cake is done.

5
Remove the cake from the oven. Allow the cake to cool for 30 minutes.

6
Flip the mold upside down onto a serving tray. Carefully pull the mold off of the cake to display the scorpion figure. Fill your icing bag about halfway with icing. Hold the icing bag at a 45 degree angle. Place the icing bag tip just above the surface of the cake. Squeeze the bag to dispense icing. Cover the cake in dark icing -- brown or red -- for the full scorpion effect.
