How to Tell if Your New Boyfriend Has a Girlfriend

Finding out if your new boyfriend is faithful and single is an important step in determining if your relationship has the potential to make it in the long-term. There a few everyday behavior indicators along with a couple of on the spot tricks that reveal whether he has something to hide, or not. These tests, when considered together, help to piece together the puzzle of his intentions for you.

Instructions

1. Suggest a date in middle of a weekday evening. Sometime between 7:30 and 9:30 pm. A man with a girlfriend has a hard time justifying getting dressed up and leaving the house at this time. An earlier date allows him to pretend he's staying at work late. Monitor what clothes he wears to the date. If he wears gym or sports clothes to a fancy dinner, he might be telling his girlfriend he's at the gym.

2. Ask him for his phone number on the date. A man with a girlfriend doesn't want other girls calling his phone as it's too risky. A cheating man calls your phone when the coast is clear and deletes the record afterwords. A man who is hesitant to give you his phone number, or who blocks his number, has something to hide.

3. Visit him at work unannounced. Tell him it was because you were in the area and thought you'd like to drop off a snack you know he likes. Watch his reaction. If he appears nervous and his coworkers are giving you unpleasant looks, he's not being upfront with you.

4. Wear a lot of perfume when you meet him at work. Try to hug him. If he backs off or acts excessively nervous it might be because he doesn't want his girlfriend to smell your perfume when he gets home.

5. Plan dates on important holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Halloween or his birthday. If he always backs-out of these plans, it might be because he is sharing them with someone else.

6. Consider all the information you have gathered. If he failed most or all of the tests, he probably has another women or is not ready to get serious with you.
