How to Transfer Gold to Another Character in "Guild Wars"

As Guild Wars characters advance through the game content, they will accumulate gold from quests rewards and mob drops. This virtual currency is used to purchase all in-game items, including weapons, armor, and consumable products. Because low-level characters will have very little gold initially and may not be able to purchase such items, you may wish to transfer gold or equipment between characters on the same account. Gold transferred through the storage vault system is immediately available to all characters on the account with storage access, and vaults are available in almost every outpost.

1. Log into Guild Wars as the character from which you would like to transfer gold.

2. Press "m" on your keyboard to open your in-game map and travel to the nearest unlocked outpost by clicking the destination on your map.

3. Locate the town's Xunlai agent. Generally, these NPCs (non-player characters) are located next to a large chest.

4. Speak to the Xunlai agent. If you do not have a vault storage account yet, you will be prompted to purchase one for 50 gold.

5. Deposit the amount of gold you wish to transfer into your vault. All vault items are accessible from all of your Guild Wars characters.

6. Log out and log back in as the character who you wish to receive the gold.

7. Travel to the nearest outpost and speak to the Xunlai agent to access your storage account. Each character must pay the one-time 50 gold fee to access the vault.

8. Withdraw the desired amount of gold.
