How to Create an Itinerary on a TomTom
It used to be that if you wanted to visit a place for the first time, you'd get a map and manually plan out the route. Now, you have the luxury of using a digital guide for creating an itinerary. TomTom is one such global positioning system, and it's designed for the specific purpose of navigating directions while on the go. Once you gather information about each of your destinations, you're only a few steps away from setting off on your journey.

1
Gather the addresses of each place that you plan to visit along your journey. Double check street addresses and zip codes, just in case.
-
2
Enter the addresses into TomTom one at a time. Save each address as a destination in "Favorites" or "My Favorites."
-
-
3
Select "Itinerary Planning" from the main menu. This should bring you to a blank itinerary planner.
-
4
Populate the blank itinerary by selecting "Add." Scroll through your "Favorites" and select the addresses in the order that you would like to visit them. To add a destination that you have not previously saved as a Favorite, select "Add" and then enter the address manually.
-
5
Save the itinerary once it's complete. For simple identification, give the itinerary a name such as "Grandma's House."
