Designing your own guitar graphics is an affordable way to customize your instrument and make it stand out from the crowd. Whether you are a skilled artist or not, custom guitar graphics can be created very easily with the use of a craft knife, card and some spray paint. The whole process can be completed in an afternoon from start to finish. Designing your own custom graphics can be fun and gives your instrument a whole new look without having to spend a lot of money.

  • Craft card
  • Craft knife
  • Pencil
  • Guitar
  • Spray paint

Instructions

      Use the pencil to draw out a design on the craft card. Once the design is created, use the craft knife to cut the design out of the card.

      Place the guitar on a flat surface. Use newspaper to cover the areas on the guitar that are not being altered. Use masking tape to keep the newspaper in place. Place the card template on the chosen area of the guitar body.

      Apply masking tape to the edges of the template to prevent it from moving. Place the spraying mask around your face. Use the chosen spray paint to cover the cut out area on the template. Spray until the area is completely filled in.

      Wait for spray paint to dry. Remove all newspaper and the template. Inspect new custom graphics.
