Track your shipment to find out when to expect your package.

Whether you're the sender or the recipient you can track your United States Postal Service (USPS) shipments online if the package was mailed with a tracking number. Tracking numbers are personalized to each USPS shipment allowing you use the number to locate your package. The USPS provides information such as when your package was mailed, where it is currently located and when its estimated date of delivery is slated for.

Instructions

    • 1

Obtain the tracking number for your package. If you are the sender the tracking number is located on your purchase receipt. If you are the recipient you can obtain your tracking number from the sender.

    • 2

Visit the USPS website and click on the "Tracking" link on the USPS homepage. Clicking this link directs you to a page where you can enter your information to track your package.

    • 3

Enter the tracking number of your package and click "Track". If your shipment information does not appear, double check that you've entered the correct tracking number or wait a little longer to track you package; tracking information can take up to 24 hours to appear online.
