The process times for the green card depends on many factors such as application volume. Visit the Citizenship and Immigration Services website.

Obtain the receipt you received on application notices from the agency. The receipt number should be 13-characters and begin with WAC, EAC, SRC or LIN.

Enter the receipt number into the space provided and press "Check Status."

Assess your status. The site will tell you which stage of the application process your green card is in. Click on the individual stages for a description about what they mean.
