Even if you have a large, varied music collection, you can bring it all with you on your Coby MP3 player. The Coby player functions as it should most of the time; but occasionally, it may freeze or become non-responsive. When this happens, you can reset the Coby player. Resetting the player is a safe procedure that does not harm or delete the data you have stored on it.
Things You'll Need
- Paper clip
Disconnect the Coby MP3 player from your computer, if it is currently connected.
Locate the "Reset" button on the player. Flip the device over so it is face-down. The button is inside a small hole at the bottom of the player, on the left side.
Straighten a paper clip and insert one end into the small hole to press the "Reset" button. The player will restart.
Tips & Warnings
- If resetting the player does not correct the problem, contact Coby customer service. You may be eligible for a free repair or replacement if the player is under warranty.
