How To Upload Video to Vimeo Using iMovie


Once you have finished editing a video and turning it in to a polished masterpiece in iMovie, you may want to go to the next level and share your creation with the world. iMovie's "Share" option makes it easy to upload your new video straight to your Vimeo account from iMovie.

  • Click "Share" in iMovie's menu at the top of your screen to view a drop-down menu. In this menu, click "Vimeo"

  • Enter the email address you use as your Vimeo username and type in your password in the provided space.

  • Use the drop-down menu to select your video's privacy settings. Type a title for your video in the provided space and add a description and tags underneath. Select the size of the video to publish. Click "Next."

  • Read the Vimeo Terms and Conditions and click "Publish."

  • Wait for your video to render and upload to Vimeo.
