Page breaks are essential if you plan to print your worksheets, as they allow you to specify where the page borders will be. If you do not insert your own page breaks, then you may find that the automatic breaks are not satisfactory for your printing requirements. The necessary tools to add page breaks are set into Excel's ribbon.

  • Click "Start," then "All Programs," then "Microsoft Office Excel 2007."

  • Press "Ctrl"+"O," then select and open your file from the computer.

  • Click "View," then click "Page Break Preview."

  • Click either the row or column where you want to insert a page break.

  • Click "Breaks" inside the "Page Setup" ribbon and select "Insert Page Break."
