You can configure your iPod to work with multiple computers.

Apple's line of iPod devices sync only with a single Mac or PC computer by default. However, the iTunes software includes a feature called manual mode that allows you to use your iPod with multiple computers. Once you enable manual mode, you can connect your iPod to several different computers and sync music to your device from each iTunes library.

      Open the iTunes application on your Mac or PC computer.

      Connect your iPod Classic, Touch, Nano or Shuffle to your computer using an iPod USB transfer cable.

      Select the name of your iPod from the "Devices" section on the left side of the main iTunes window.

      Press "Cancel" when a dialog box alerts you that the iPod has been previously synced with a different iTunes library.

      Go to the "Summary" tab at the top of the iPod configuration page.

      Check the box next to "Manually manage music and videos."

    • 7

      Press the "Apply" button in the lower-right corner of the window to save the settings. Your iPod will now be able to sync with multiple computers and iTunes libraries.
