Matcha is a Japanese green-tea powder used both for making tea and as an ingredient in beverages and recipes.   • Blender
  • Liquid base (milk or water)
  • Measuring cup
  • Fresh or frozen fruit

      Set up an electric stand blender.

      Add 1 cup of milk or water along with 1 cup of your preferred fresh or frozen fruit to the blender. Try strawberries, banana, blueberries or melon.

      Mix in the matcha powder. Start by adding 1 tsp. of matcha powder for every 3/4 cup of milk or water, but the measurements can be adjusted according to how strongly you would like your smoothie to taste of green tea.
