How to Add Matcha Powder to Smoothies
Matcha is a Japanese green-tea powder used both for making tea and as an ingredient in beverages and recipes. According to Matcha Source, matcha is sugar-free and rich in chlorophyll, fiber, nutrients and antioxidants. Prepared alone, the flavor of matcha is quite strong, as it is composed of powdered, whole green-tea leaves. When added to sauces, pastries and smoothies, the taste is more subdued.
