Things You'll Need

• Mini pumpkins
• Drill
• 3/4-inch spade bit
• Spoon or Popsicle stick
• Metallic paint
• Paintbrush
• Taper candles with 3/4-inch bases

Instructions

1. Hold one of the mini pumpkins firmly. Use the drill to make a 1/2-inch or 1-inch-deep hole in the top of the pumpkin.

2. Use the back of a spoon or a Popsicle stick to clean any leftover pumpkin from inside the hole.

3. Paint the mini pumpkin with metallic paint, completely covering the pumpkin in the metallic color of your choice. Repeat Steps 1 to 3 for the remaining mini pumpkins.

4. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly for two to four hours before inserting candles into the pumpkins.

5. Place the metal pumpkin candle centerpieces on your table or mantle for display.
