How to Send a Letter of Recommendation to AT&T
One of your former students has just graduated, and she requested that you send a letter of recommendation to AT&T, where she hopes to begin a career. Unfortunately, she neglected to provide you with the address or give you a self-addressed stamped envelope. How do you find out where to send the letter? You will need to investigate the possibilities, but, with some educated guessing, you can probably find the correct division.

1
Ask the student where he sent his application. If he uploaded the information to the AT&T website, you won't be able to upload a letter of recommendation for him because his login information will be private and password protected. If that is the case, find out the division and the location where he was applying.

2
Search for the division on the AT&T website. For example, if she was applying for AT&T Wireless, search the Wireless web page for mailing information for that city. If you cannot find any contact information, call AT&T general wireless customer support at 1-800-331-0500 and ask for the address of the department.

Provide a copy of the letter of recommendation to the student if you are unable to narrow down a physical address or e-mail address. He can take the letter with him if he is interviewed. While this scenario is not ideal for the student, it is better than not writing the letter at all.
