How to Plan a Wedding in Las Vegas in One Day
When planning a Las Vegas wedding in one day, throw out the idea of anything elaborate. Though Las Vegas is sin city and is the place to get married on a whim, it still doesn't mean that a Las Vegas wedding will be worry free. As with any wedding, there are a few core details that you need to take care of before you plan on saying, "I do." Decide what wedding elements are most important to you before you begin planning your wedding.

1
Get online. Locate wedding chapels in Las Vegas. Most Vegas hotels have wedding chapels on or near the premesis. The Las Vegas strip is also host to a plethora of wedding chapels. Call a day ahead to book a time if you are on a schedule. Most Las Vegas chapels have extended hours. These chapels provide photography and flowers, along with a wedding officiant to perform the ceremony. If you get one of the wedding packages through a hotel, they usually include a newlywed package.

Purchase your attire. Though you can usually rent clothing from a Las Vegas wedding chapel, it's always more relaxing and special to have your own clothes. If you are having a small ceremony, pick out nice but comfortable outfits. The bride should wear a sundress or semi-formal dress with heels or dressy sandals. The groom should wear slacks and a button-up or polo shirt.

Purchase the rings. This can be done at the wedding chapel or at a local jeweler. If you are planning to have a more elaborate ring made, purchase an inexpensive ring for the ceremony so that it feels official. Inexpensive rings can be purchased from chapels, jewelers and even retail outlets.

Bring along a witness. If you are in Las Vegas with friends or family, bring members along as witnesses or just for support. Many people appreciate the participation of loved ones at their wedding ceremony. Usually friends and family members who are already present will be more than happy to share your special day with you.
