Find out exactly when your UPS package will arrive.

United Parcel Service (UPS) ships packages and mail all over the world, and most people recognize the brown shorts and brown trucks worn and driven by UPS delivery people. One of the many advantages of shipping with UPS is the ability to track packages sent via ground transportation. If you use UPS you will receive a tracking number from the store or company from which you ordered your item. With this, you can begin tracking your package immediately.

Instructions

    • 1

Obtain the UPS tracking number for your package. This number is provided by the store from which you made your purchase, or from the friend or relative using UPS to send a package to you.

    • 2

Visit the UPS website to track your package. Click on the link for "Tracking" at the top of the UPS homepage.

    • 3

Enter your package tracking number in the box provided and click "track." The results will show you the progress of your package. Allow up to 24 hours from the time the package was sent for information to become available on the tracking system. Tracking allows you to see where your package is, where it's been and the estimated date of delivery.
