How to Harvest Armenian Cucumbers

Armenian cucumbers are long, curvy cucumbers that are a pale green color. Plant in the spring when the soil is warm; harvest beginning in mid-summer, depending on the climate.       Wait until the Armenian cucumbers grow to be about 15 to 18 inches long. The cucumbers may grow longer on the vine but can become tough if left too long.

      Cut the cucumbers off the vine using a sharp, clean knife or hand clippers. Simply cut the vine just above where the cucumber attaches to the vine.

      Harvest your Armenian cucumbers every few days to pick them when they are long, but still tender. You can harvest them when they are shorter, if desired. They will be tender but you will not have as much cucumber to use.
