Bytehost and GoDaddy both provide web hosting services. If you want to transfer your domain from Bytehost to GoDaddy, just complete a series of steps. You can obtain the proper directions directly from GoDaddy. These directions can be followed in an hour or less. The actual transfer might take a week to complete, however.

Go to the GoDaddy transfer website (See Resources).

Enter the name of the domain you want to transfer. Hit "Go." Provide your payment information.

Call "Bytehost." Ask the customer service rep to give you an authorization code to release your domain hosting.

Give the authorization code to GoDaddy. GoDaddy will send you a confirmation email letting you know you've successfully transferred your domain.
