How to Use Gingi-Med Fluoride to Whiten Teeth

Applying stannous fluoride to teeth makes them stronger.

Gingi-Med is a name of a product that contains 0.63 percent stannous fluoride. The use of stannous fluoride should be suggested by a doctor or dentist. Stannous fluoride strengthens and generates tooth enamel. Tooth enamel affects the translucency of your tooth and affects its color. People have discoloration where tooth enamel is damaged or broken. By generating new tooth enamel, you can whiten your teeth.

Things You'll Need

• Gingi-Med rinse
• Distilled water

Instructions

1. Measure 1/8 oz. of Gingi-Med rinse. Pour the rinse into a cup. The cap of the Gingi-Med provides the correct levels.

2. Pour 1 oz. of distilled water into the cup. Mix the Gingi-Med rinse and distilled water with a teaspoon. Distilled water prevents discoloration of teeth.

3. Pour the solution into your mouth. Do not swallow the solution.

4. Swish the solution between your teeth for 20 to 30 seconds.

5. Do not eat, swallow or rinse for 30 minutes after use.

6. Repeat the process daily until your teeth regain whiteness in discolored areas.

Tips & Warnings

• Stannous fluoride is toxic if large amounts are ingested.
