How to Format a Document in Microsoft Word 2007

The default font for Microsoft Word 2007 is an 11-point Calibri font, without any formatting. To change the appearance of the text in your documents, you must adjust the text font and formatting. Formatting your Microsoft Word documents allows you to create appealing, unique documents that highlight important information. There are many options to change your document's formatting, including text font, size, color, style, position and spacing.       Click the "Home" tab and click the "Font" drop-down list in the "Font" group. The name of each font is formatted as an example of the font. Click a font name to format the highlighted text.

      Change the number from the "Font Size" drop-down list to increase or decrease the size of the text.
