How to Configure CPU Fan Speed
The CPU fan inside your computer is the cooling unit for your PC's processor. It ensures the processor does not overheat and damage itself during operation. Many users choose to change the speed at which this fan operates. Slowing down the fan speed lowers the noise coming from the computer tower, while speeding up the fan provides cooler temperatures for overclocked CPUs. Adjusting the fan speed is done through the BIOS options of the motherboard.
