Send an e-card with a personalized message to your loved one.

Giving your loved one chocolate, perfume, flowers and roses on Valentine's Day is a time honored tradition. However, sometimes you may not have the opportunity to put your gift in the mail in time. Fortunately, there is a way to declare your love without setting foot in the post office. You can send your family member or special friend an animated e-card with a personalized message to show them how much you care.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit different greetings websites on the Internet. When you find a website with greeting cards that you like, click on the Valentine's Day category. If it is not on the front page, put "Valentine's Day" into the page's search option.

    • 2

Choose which of the e-cards displayed on the page you want to send, then click on its title or picture. Switch the volume of your computer on to be able to listen to the music that accompanies the e-card.

    • 3

Click on the button "Send this e-card" (located either above or below the card) once you have found the card that you like best.

    • 4

Fill out your name and e-mail address on the next screen. You'll get the chance to personalize your card by typing a message you want to display on the screen. Add the recipient's name and e-mail address.

    • 5

Click on the "Preview" button if you want to see what the card will look like before sending it. Make appropriate changes if needed.

    • 6

Send the card by clicking on the "Send this e-card" button.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some cards allow you to choose the music or font colors, and some do not. You may want to browse all your options before choosing your card.

  • If you have an option of choosing a specific date to send your card, be sure you choose February 14th so your loved one sees it on Valentine's Day!

  • Note that some e-card sites require memberships and fees. Check to see if a fee is required before you start to fill out your card.
