How to Save Cookies on Internet Explorer When Getting a New Computer
Browsers such as Internet Explorer allow websites to store data on a user's hard drive. These bits of data, called cookies, help sites perform several useful tasks. By storing your login information in a cookie, a website gives you the ability to log on to the site automatically. Cookies can also store user preferences such as your favorite background color or song title. If you need to transfer cookies to a new computer, use Internet Explorer's built-in "Export" utility to save them.
