How to Follow Twitter on the Kindle

Twitter is a social networking site founded in 2006. Users of the site can share 140-character bits of information with other users who follow their updates. Using Twitter with the Amazon Kindle's built-in Web browser is difficult due to the number of crashes one experiences when trying to load the Twitter site. Using a tool called KindleTwit, you can sign in to your Twitter account and get the latest updates from those you follow.

Instructions

1. Open the Web browser on your Kindle by pressing the "Menu" button and selecting "Experimental," then "Load Browser."

2. Visit the KindleTwit website on your Kindle at KindleTwit.com.

3. Click the "Login" link, then enter your Twitter username and password and click "Sign in."

4. Choose "Allow" to give KindleTwit permission to use your Twitter credentials. Your Twitter timeline will load on the next screen, showing you updates from the accounts of users you follow.
