How to Optimize a D-Link DIR-655 for Steam
The D-Link DIR-655 is a wireless router that can provide wireless Internet to all of the computers in your house. Most routers have built-in firewall protection that may block the applications that you use from working properly. You need to ensure that your router is open to the applications you are using, such as Steam. To accomplish this, you need to "port forward" so that the ports to which Steam connects are open through the router.
