Sheldon Cooper from "The Big Bang Theory" probably already knows how to get to the Shadow Temple.

Whether you're playing Ocarina on your old Nintendo 64, the Wii Virtual Console or the latest incarnation on the 3DS, you're not going to make it to the Shadow Temple without the Lens of Truth, but once you've swiped the Lens of Truth from Dead Hand's chest you're ready to take on one of the game's spookiest challenges.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the Temple of Time and put your master sword in its holder. This will turn you into Big Link.

    • 2

Play the Nocturne of the Shadow, the song you learned from Sheik after receiving the Water Medallion from Princess Ruto. The song goes like this on the Nintendo 64: left C, right C, right C, A, left C, right C, down C. You'll be taken to the upper part of the graveyard.

    • 3

Turn around. The entrance to the Shadow Temple will be directly behind you. The room will be filled with mysterious symbols and a myriad of unlit torches.

    • 4

Use Din's Fire to light all the torches. Once all the torches are lit a large stone door will slowly open. Enter at your own risk.

Tips & Warnings

  • The Shadow Temple is filled with hidden passages that are only visible with the Lens of Truth.
