Reinstalling iCal can be done simply by using the Apple Install Disc.

When you purchase a Macintosh or update its operating system, a selection of software comes pre-installed. One such program, iCal, provides users with an interactive calendar to plan events, schedules and holidays. When the program starts to act out of the norm, you can find yourself in a situation that could jeopardize scheduled events and business ventures. In such cases, it is best to back up your data and reinstall the software. Reinstalling iCal is a relatively simple process and will only take a few moments of your time.
