How to Turn Off Firefox Live Bookmarks

Firefox is a Web browser developed by a nonprofit organization called Mozilla. One of the unique features of the Firefox browser is Live Bookmarks. This feature allows you to subscribe to Web pages that have an RSS feed, such as blogs, and have a fresh bookmark containing the latest updates from those pages. If you want to turn off a Live Bookmark, you can delete it from your Bookmarks toolbar by following a few steps.

  Open the "Firefox" Web browser.

  Locate your Bookmarks bar, which is located underneath the address box. If your Bookmark's toolbar isn't showing, click the "Bookmarks" button on the right side of the menu bar and choose "View Bookmarks Toolbar."

  Right-click the Live Bookmark you'd like to turn off, and select "Delete." This will remove the Live Bookmark and no further updates will be received.
