How to Express Time in a Wedding Announcement
When you want to let those who were not at your wedding know you've just tied the knot, send them official wedding announcements. Like wedding invitations, announcements include all the pertinent information pertaining to your special day, including the date and time of the wedding. People you might send announcements to include business associates and friends or family who live too far to make it to the actual event.

List the hosts of the wedding first on the announcement. If these are the parents of the bride, list them formally, such as 'Mr. and Mrs. Davis are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Sally Ann Davis to James Earl Philips". If you are announcing your wedding, begin with your names as they appear on the wedding invitation. An example of how to list your names is, 'Sally Ann Davis and James Earl Philips happily announce their marriage'.

2
List the date and time of the wedding on the next two lines of the announcement. Write out the full date and time, such as 'which took place on the fifth of May, two thousand and ten, at twelve o'clock in the afternoon'.

Add the wedding venue on the last two lines of the wedding announcement. List the name of the venue first and on the next line list the location. For instance, state it as, 'at St. Paul's Catholic Church, St. Louis, Missouri'.

Tips & Warnings
The same people hosting the wedding, such as the parents of the bride, or the bride and groom themselves, send out wedding announcements. Order the announcements when you order your invitations so you'll have them on hand and they will match the theme of the wedding.
You should not wait too long after the wedding to send the announcements. Mail wedding announcements the day before your wedding to ensure timeliness. This helps ensure you don't forget about them with all the hustle and bustle on your wedding day and afterwards.
