How Can I Print an Application for British Citizenship?
The application form for naturalization as a British citizen can be printed or submitted through online sources. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, of sound mind, intend to live in the United Kingdom or remain in some eligible form of its service, speak acceptable English, Scottish or Gaelic, demonstrated knowledge of life in the UK and be of good character. You must also have been a resident of the UK for five years or more without having spent more than 450 days of those five years outside the UK, or more than 90 days in the past 12 months.

Visit the United Kingdom Border Agency website and locate the application for naturalization as a British citizen, Form AN. The form is provided as a PDF file. Print the form and save it to your computer so it is immediately accessible should you require more copies in the future.

Tips & Warnings
Britain does not restrict its nationals from holding dual citizenship. Check with the country in which you are currently a national prior to applying for British naturalization to ensure that dual citizenship is permitted by law.
Holders of dual citizenship should be aware that British diplomatic protection does not extend into any other countries where you may also be a citizen.
