Instructions

    • 1

Consult your user's manual to make sure you know how to insert and remove the baking pan for your bread machine.

    • 2

Practice inserting and removing the pan before adding your ingredients.

    • 3

Use cooking spray and liberally spray the inside of your pan, making sure to spray the entirety of the mixing paddle inside of your pan. Oil the stem attaching your paddle to your pan as well, especially any part of the stem that is exposed.

    • 4

Put on oven mitts when your bread machine alerts you that your bread has finished baking.

    • 5

Open your bread machine and carefully remove the inside loaf pan.

    • 6

Place the pan on a cooling rack.

    • 7

Take a thin wooden spatula and insert it along the sides of your pan to loosen the bread from the loaf pan.

    • 8

Still wearing your oven mitts, tip your loaf of bread onto the cooling rack by turning the pan upside down over the rack.

    • 9

Remove the paddle in the bottom of your bread by hand or, if the bread is too hot, with a pair of metal kitchen tongs.

    • 10

Turn your bread right-side up and allow it to cool before cutting.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't have cooking spray, pour some oil onto a paper towel and wipe the inside of your pan with the oiled towel.
