How to Clear Domain Names From the URL Field
Because many websites give the same names to form elements, such as the the text field for URLs, you may see a list of these form entries when filling out forms in your browser (because the program saves form data). If you have previously typed a domain name into the URL field that you only need to use once, or if you have incorrectly typed a domain name, you may wish to clear this form entry from the URL field. Otherwise, you may accidentally use this domain name when filling out forms on the Internet.
