Preschoolers love to learn about nature and the outdoors. When studying about the forest and camping consider doing this simple tent craft that uses empty milk cartons. It is the perfect activity to inspire discussions about animals you can see when camping and even how to start a campfire safety.

Things You'll Need

• Construction paper
• Milk cartons
• Paint
• Crayons
• Glue

Instructions

1. Wash out the inside of the cartons and dry them well.

2. Cut out a flap from the side of the milk carton for a door.

3. Let the preschoolers color or paint on construction paper. This will be glued to the outside.
