How to Retrieve GED Transcripts From Tennessee
The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development houses some GED records on-site, whereas other records can be obtained by contacting the original GED testing site. To get a copy of your GED transcripts for military entrance, school enrollment or other reasons, you must complete a GED transcript request form and fax or mail the form to the appropriate facility.

Contact the original GED testing site. The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development recommends that individuals contact the site where the test was administered to receive a copy of GED transcripts. You will need to present a valid photo ID, complete all required request forms and pay a fee per transcript, if applicable.

Access the Tennessee government's GED Web page and click "Request for Transcript/Diploma." Download and print the transcript request form.

Complete the application in its entirety. Include information, such as your full name, approximate testing date, social security number, birth date and a mailing address. If the transcript request is from an educational institution, the transcript will be mailed directly to the address recorded on this document.

Mail or fax the form. After completing and signing the transcript request, you can fax the request to: 615-532-4899 or mail it to:
