How to Find iTunes Setup on Windows Vista

When you download a file to your computer, you can specify the location to which you want your computer to save the file. If you downloaded the iTunes setup file from the Apple website, your computer will save the "iTunesSetup.exe" file on your hard drive. If you didn't specify a save location for the iTunes file, you must search your computer before you can begin installation. Your Windows Vista operating system has an advanced search feature that assists in locating lost files. Find the "iTunesSetup.exe" file using the Windows Vista search feature.

Instructions

1. Click the Windows orb in the lower left corner of the screen.

2. Type "iTunes" or "iTunes Setup" in the "Search" bar at the bottom of the menu.

3. Click the installation file to begin installation. If the search results didn't list the iTunes installation file, click "Search Everywhere." The "Search" dialog box appears on your screen.

4. Scroll through the results to find the installation file. Double-click the file to begin installing the program.

Tips & Warnings

• If you can't locate the installation file on your computer, you might have deleted the file. Visit the Apple website (apple.com) to download the file again. Save the file to your desktop for easy access.
