How to Hang Cinnamon Sticks
Cinnamon sticks produce a traditional fragrance reminiscent of holidays and baking. Hang cinnamon sticks from Christmas wreaths or Christmas trees as ornaments, or keep your house smelling sweet with homemade cinnamon-stick decorations. To hang, loop a ribbon attached to the sticks over a tree branch or attach the ribbon to an ornament hook. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Bag of cinnamon sticks
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Small decorative items
- Hot glue gun
- Ornament hook

Place a small line of glue along the inside of 3 to 6 cinnamon sticks and glue them together in a small bundle.

Tie a piece of narrow ribbon 6 to 7 inches long around the middle of the bundle. Tie a knot. Place a drop of glue on the knot to keep it in place.

Glue decorative items, such as artificial red berries and small artificial ferns, on the outside of the cinnamon-stick bundle.

Tie the ends of the ribbon together to form a loop to hang the cinnamon sticks. Alternatively, glue an ornament hook to the bundle and hang it from the Christmas tree.

Tips & Warnings
As the cinnamon sticks age, you can place them in a warm environment to refresh the cinnamon smell.
