How to Reset a SonicWall TZ180 W
The SonicWall TZ180 W router is used to connect wireless Internet devices in your home or business. If you are experiencing slowdowns with your connection or the Internet is down for a period of time, then you may have to manually troubleshoot the router. One the first and most easiest troubleshooting methods is to reset the router. Once the router is fully reset you can then check to see if the Internet is properly working again.

Disconnect all connections from the SonicWall TZ180 W, including the power supply from the back of the unit.

Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the port on the back of SonicWall router and then connect the other end to the Ethernet port on the back of your computer.

Wait for the red "Test" light to appear on the front of the SonicWall router. Find the "Reset" button located on the top back portion of the router.

Use a pen to press down the small "Reset" button and then hold the button down for at least 10 seconds.

Release the button and then all of the LED light on the router will turn green. The router will then be fully reset.
