How to Change Documents From Read-Only Copy

Microsoft Windows lets you manage, edit and change properties of your files, including title, author, data created and or modified, as well as any security restrictions. Set security to "Read-only" to prevent anyone else from editing or making any changes. You can remove the restriction at any time. You must be logged in as an administrator of the computer to add or remove security restrictions to documents.
