Your Boost i415 phone allows you to surf the Internet on your computer. Setting up a tether between your phone and computer allows you to surf the Web, check emails and watch videos online. You do need a data plan on your phone to have access to the Internet on your computer. Your phone's software also helps your computer establish a connection.

      Click "Start" and "Control Panel." Click on "Network and Internet." Click the "Create a Network" option, then "Next."

      Click "Connect to the Internet" and "Next." Select "Set up my connection manually" and click "Next." Click "Connect using a dial-up modem," then "Next."

      Create a name for your network. Use one that is easy to remember. Enter "S=2#77" (without quotes) into the "Phone Number" input box. Click "Next."

      Place a check next to "Complete the network wizard connection." Click "Finish." Click "Start," "Control Panel" and "Network Connections" once again.

      Right-click your network name. Click on "Properties" from the drop-down menu.

      Click the "General" tab and "Configure." Check that the Baud Speed says "57600," and Baud Rate says "Auto." Place a check next to "Enable hardware flow control," if not already. Click "OK."

      Click the "Properties" window once again. Click on the "Networking" tab. Make sure that "Type of dial-up server I am calling" is set to "PPP." Click "Settings" and "OK."

      Plug the mini USB cable into your phone. Insert the other end into an available USB port on your computer.

      Double-click the Boost Mobile USB driver icons. It will detect your phone and install the drivers. Click "Finish." Launch a Web browser and test your Internet connection.
